👋 “Pitchfuse Talent for Sheets™” is built and maintained by Alexander Paul (AlexPaul.io). This policy outlines data collection, processing, and protection practices specific to this Google Sheets™ Add-on.
Disclosure: Google API Services
Pitchfuse’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other application strictly adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use Requirements.
Data Collection and Third-Party Usage
API Keys: Users store their own API keys (DataForSEO, OpenRouter, Jina.ai) in Google Sheets™ via User Properties. These keys are never sent to or accessed by the developer.
External APIs Used:
Pitchfuse sends content to external APIs configured by the user, including:
- DataForSEO (lead search by radius + keyword)
- OpenRouter (candidate data enrichment)
- Jina.ai (structured parsing from web links)
What is shared:
Depending on the feature used, the add-on may send:
- Business search terms
- Latitude/longitude coordinates
- Candidate summary blocks
- Uploaded file content (e.g., PDF resume content)
- User-defined text templates
Why it’s shared:
These inputs are shared with APIs to perform requested tasks (e.g., enrich candidate data, extract emails, parse CVs) and return structured responses to the spreadsheet.
Developer access:
None. No user API key, file, or content is ever sent to or stored by the developer.
Admin-Only Configuration
Only pre-approved admin users (by email) can view or edit API key configuration. All API keys are stored locally using Google Sheets™ UserProperties.
User Consent
Use of Pitchfuse implies consent to external API interaction for the specific actions performed. If users prefer not to share data with third-party APIs, they may refrain from using those specific features.
Storage and Security
- All data remains in the user’s spreadsheet unless explicitly sent to APIs.
- The add-on does not store, log, or transmit any user data outside the user’s Google environment.
- Google Drive™ and Gmail™ integrations are scoped to current document only and use OAuth2 least-privilege best practices.
Compliance
- GDPR compliant (no PII processed outside user scope)
- Complies with all relevant Google Add-on policies
- Respects Limited Use Requirements and API provider terms
